I think fiction writers need to be wild and wooly in their inner being but willing to endure some taming through study and writing discipline (like lion or bear cubs raised by loving human caretakers. We CAN bond and submit to domestic situations but there's always a wildness about us that can escape and survive at large at any moment.)Lori Stanley Roeleveldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02100003378571490221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1336775205213401378.post-25854153564614613132009-11-19T08:21:20.158-06:002009-11-19T08:21:20.158-06:00I found your blog through the Megan Rebekah site. ...I found your blog through the Megan Rebekah site. Heck, I've been watching Ghost Hunters for two weeks as research for my book series. But also, eavesdropping on conversations, people watching, gossiping... I try not to gossip. But sometimes it's hard not to nose into other people's business because of that curiosity.Stephanie Farishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10461865229341760836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1336775205213401378.post-66252323149887403392009-11-05T01:07:59.598-06:002009-11-05T01:07:59.598-06:00As usual Karen, good job. It is the story that we can tell the best because we have experienced them.

I can relate to the one word trigger. Many of my articles and blogs have come from one word, one phrase, and sometimes a visual with no words.

I believe that as writers we learn to be observant of everything around us. When we stop being observant, our writing suffers.

GBYJames Lindquisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05608122989130160872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1336775205213401378.post-68263254514089118492009-11-04T23:05:13.982-06:002009-11-04T23:05:13.982-06:00Karen, thank you for that generous affirmation.
